For many years Hooker Handling Systems has been offering Gorbel™ bridge cranes throughout the World. Specializing in the modular workstation cranes which offer a welcomed alternative to the traditional I-Beam and patented track systems. Our enclosed track systems are up to three times easier to move that the previous traditional systems. The design eliminates dirt and dust from the surface reducing wear and tear on the trollies and end trucks. These cranes offer a lower profile allowing installation where headroom is a factor. Spans of up to 30 feet can be accomplished with the steel truss systems, reducing the number of support columns required for operation. Track sizes are available in 250lb., 500lb., 1000lb., 2000lb. and 4000lb. which enable you to keep bridge weight and costs to a minimum.

Easy to Install

The Gorbel™ Free Standing Work Station Bridge Crane can be installed on any normal 6" reinforced concrete floor. Each column is anchored by four bolts, thus eliminating the need for field welding. Support columns are designed to AISC specifications. If no movement of the support assemblies is required, then bracing to the building is recommended.

Modular Design

The pre-engineered modular kit design permits easy expansion or relocation. The runway length can be increased by adding runway sections, free standing support assemblies and additional bridges as needed.
